The city of Sirmione is a peninisula located on Lake Garda in Northern Italy. It is a beautiful city complete with cobblestone streets, waterfront villas, flowers climbing the side of distressed buildings and a castle you walk thorough that invites you into the historic district. The painting above is the courtyard of Santa Maria Maggiore della Neve....an awsome find. It dates back to the end of the 15th century and continues to be an active parish.
